For a ballpark figure: if your site is 5 pages, you should expect to pay between $100-$150/page for a good quality web site(keep in mind the more content, the greater the cost). I came up with this number because that cost isn't necessarily just the time it takes to make an "html" web page, but the time assoicated in coming up with the web design, converting that design to a standards compliant html page, communication back-and-forth between the client, etc.. There are a number of factors that go into the cost of web design other than just the finished product that you see on your website. Typically the larger your site is the cheaper each page will be since most web developers will use some sort of template in order to manage the site more efficiently.
